Student Satellite Payload Summer Internship

Summer 2008

DEADLINE: March 5, 2008

OVERVIEW: Learn how to work with other students to design, build and launch a satellite to the edge of space.

AWARD: Each intern will receive a $4,000 award, paid in increments.

LOCATION: Meetings will take place in Milwaukee, or on occasion in Green Bay.

NASA Academy

Summer 2008

DEADLINE: January 15, 2008

OVERVIEW: NASA Academy is an internship program for upper-level college students for participating NASA Centers. Each center has its own focus area. The selected students work on research projects under the direction of scientists and engineers working for NASA.

ELLIGIBILITY: Student must be at least a JUNIOR by June 1, 2008. You must have a grade point average of B, or better. You must be a U.S. citizen.

FUNDING: NASA pays for housing and transportation. WSGC will provide up to $4,000 depending on availability of funds.
