Fall 2008 Tuition payment Deadline:  September 15, 2008
Spring 2009 Tuition payment Deadline:  February 6, 2009

Option #1 - Full Payment - Option #2 - Fee Deferment - Option #3 - Credit Agreement Plan

OPTION #1:  FULL PAYMENT

PAYMENTS BY CASH, CHECKS, and MONEY ORDERS can be made at Business Services when you register for classes but must be received no later than the close of business on the 10 class day of the semester (payment deadline).  You may:

  • (A) pay in person at Business Services or
  • (B) pay your fees by mail or
[Make your checks payable to: UW Sheboygan.  Address your envelope to: UW Sheboygan Business Services, 1 University Dr., Sheboygan, WI  53081. Please make sure the student name and Prism ID number is included on the remittance check, to ensure proper credit to the appropriate account.   Payments sent through the mail, will be credited to the student's account the day it is received.]
  • (C) deposit your fees at the depository [The depository is located outside Business Services.  Payments received in the depository after 3PM will not be credited to your account until the following business day.]

PAYMENTS BY CREDIT CARD/DEBIT CARD (MasterCard & Discover Card only) or ELECTRONIC WEB CHECK payment can be made online by linking directly to PRISM "Make a Payment" .

OPTION #2:  FEE DEFERMENT

You must have received a Financial Aid award to qualify for a Fee Deferment. Where a loan is awarded/offered, you must have completed and filed the loan application, completed your master promissory note, and exit counseling to be eligible for a Fee Deferment.  Payment of tuition and fees can only be deferred if your financial aid is equal to or greater than what is owed. To apply for a fee deferment: download, complete, and sign the form below and turn it in to Business Services before payment deadline.

Fee Deferment Application

If you have not received a financial aid award or the awarded amount is zero or less than what is owed, your options are

  1. Pay the entire amount of tuition and fees owed no later than the payment deadline, or
  2. Secure a Credit Agreement and pay the required down payment no later than the payment deadline--refer to Option #3, or
  3. Pay the difference of what is owed (less the awarded amount) no later than the payment deadline. You may then qualify for a Fee Deferment for the balance/the awarded amount to be paid by your financial aid but you must apply for the deferment no later than the 10th day of classes (payment deadline).

Do NOT ASSUME because you applied for, qualified for in the past or currently qualify for financial aid that you will receive it in time to meet the payment deadline!

OPTION #3:  CREDIT AGREEMENT

Credit Agreement form

Students must access the Credit Agreement form with the above provided link. Forms will not be available in any other format. Students are responsible for making and retaining a copy of their Agreement.  The university will not provide photocopies of signed Agreements.

The Credit Agreement is a contract with the UW Sheboygan/UW Colleges.  It is a legal document and therefore, you must be 18 years old at the time of signing.  Proof of birth is required; a driver's license, birth certificate or other legal document showing birth date is needed.  If a student is not 18 years or older, a parent or legal guardian must co-sign the document.  If a student is 18 years or older, the student must sign the document--a parent may not sign for the student.

The Credit Agreement must be made in person at Business Services by the end of the second week of classes.  There is minimum down payment of $200, which includes a one time non-refundable $25 enrollment charge, payable when you sign the agreement.  The remaining balance is divided into two equal payments (see due dates). There is a late installment fee of $25 for each payment that is late.  There is no grace period.  Interest is charged at 1.25% per month on the outstanding balance after the last installment payment is due.  Withdrawing from the university does not eliminate your legal financial obligation to pay the remaining installments.

If you have not secured a payment option by the 10th class day, you will be financially responsible for your all of your tuition fees including a mandatory $100 administrative late payment penalty fee.
