 Penny Maletzke

1982 West Bend East High graduate.  4 year starting setter on volleyball team. 4 year starting point guard on basketball team. 4 year state track and field qualifier.  Team captain in all three sports.

 

1987 UW La Crosse graduate with a B.S. degree in Community Health Education.  3 year starting point guard on basketball team.  Team captain in basketball. 6 time All-American Track and Field athlete.

 

1987 and 1988 Assistant varsity girls’ basketball coach at Red River HS in Grand Forks, ND.  1988 North Dakota Girls Basketball State Champions.

 

UW Sheboygan Intramural Sports Director 1989-present.  Sports include co-ed activities in Flag Football, Volleyball, Basketball and Ultimate Frisbee.

 

UW Sheboygan Volleyball Coach 1989-present.  Overall record of 199-140.  State Tournament Champions in 1989, 1991, 1998 and 1999.  State Tournament runners-up in 1992, 1993, 1995, 1997 and 2003.  Conference Tournament Champions in 1989, 1992, 1998 and 1999.  Conference Tournament runners-up in 1991, 1995 and 2003.

 

UW Sheboygan basketball coach 1990-present.  Resurrected the UW Sheboygan Women’s basketball program in 1990 after an absence of 10 years.  Overall record of 136-136.  State Tournament runners-up in 1998 and 2000. Conference Divisional winners in 1994, 1996 and 1999.

 

UW Sheboygan Men’s and Women’s Tennis coach 1989-1998 and 2006-present.  Women’s State Tournament Champions in 1990, 1991, 1997.  Women’s State Tournament runners-up in 1996.  Women’s Conference Tournament Champions in 1990, 1996 and 1997.  Men’s State Tournament Champions in 1995, 1996 and 2007.  Men’s Conference Tournament Champions in 1992, 1996 and 2007.  Men's State Runners-up 2008.  Men’s Conference Tournament runners-up in 1995 & 2008.

Volunteer:  Middle School girls’ basketball coach; St. Clement Church; Sheboygan County YMCA Board; Ducks Unlimited.

 

Work part time for Aurora Health Care as a Health Risk Appraisal Technician; CPR, AED and First Aide Instructor; and Car Seat Technician.

 

Spare time activities include watching my daughter’s sporting events, playing in volleyball and tennis leagues, and watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers play.
