Services for Local Residents

As a community-based institution of the UW System, UW-Sheboygan and its facilities are open to all area residents. Whether enrolled in courses or not, you are welcome to visit the library, use our resources on-site, and even borrow books and other materials with a complimentary library card. Here are our community borrowing policies and procedures.

Area residents are also welcome to use library desktop computers and the available software (Microsoft Office programs, Internet Explorer, etc.) and internet connectivity. Here are our policies and procedures for community use of library computers. Free Wi-Fi access is also available and open to use for local residents who wish to bring in their own laptop computer and connect to the Internet in that way.
