IN AN EFFORT TO MAKE STUDENT COMPUTER ACCESS EASIER, all student network files will be deleted upon the completion of finals this month. This will allow the campus to ensure that student accounts work more efficiently. Student email accounts will not be deleted. This only effects files stored on the network. All students will still have access to the campus computer network. You will have until the day after finals to backup your files before your profile will be cleared. This includes files in My Documents, My Pictures, My Music, My Favorites and files and shortcuts saved to the desktop. Please use whatever backup method you prefer (burn to a CD, DVD or jump drive or email files to yourself). If you have questions or concerns, contact the Help Desk at shbIT@uwc.edu before May 22.
