Math help sources in the UW Colleges

  1. Talk to your course instructor. Know the professor's office hours and make use of them regularly. We really do like to help you learn!
  2. If your campus has one, check out the campus TRIO program for first generation, low income, or disabled college students.
  3. Visit the Math Lab, Study Center, or Academic Skills Center if your campus has one. These help centers may have different names, but you are sure to find someone who can help you.
  4. Go to the Student Services office and ask about any available math tutoring.
  5. Meet with a peer tutor.
  6. Form a study group with other students in your class.
