General materials

Do you know your own learning style? Try taking the Index of Learning Styles Questionnaire. This website from North Carolina State University contains a free survey for analyzing your personal preferred learning styles. Take the survey and use the results with written descriptions of various learning styles. What's your style?

Check out the Study Plan Strategies for math and science courses, as presented in workshops at UW Rock County by Kim Kostka (Chemistry) and George Alexander (Mathematics).

Or you might try other developmental math resources on websites outside the UW Colleges.
