UW-Sheboygan to hold Spring Concert April 17

All area residents are invited to celebrate “Spring Love” with the UW-Sheboygan Music Department as it presents its annual Spring Concert featuring the UW-Sheboygan Chorus and Jazz Ensemble on Tuesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. in the UW-Sheboygan Fine Arts Theatre.

Dr. Christy Talbott, UW-Sheboygan Assistant Professor of Music, will direct the UW-Sheboygan Chorus along with accompanist Kathy Pedersen. Paul Sucherman will direct the Jazz Ensemble.

The concert will feature performances the entire Chorus of popular secular, religious, Broadway and film love songs. Some songs included will be “A Time for Us,” “I Love You Truly,” “Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee,” among others. The Jazz band will perform a series of upbeat selections, along with a special performance of the UW-Sheboygan Barbershop Quartet.
Admission is $5 for adults, and will be FREE to all children under 18, seniors and all UW-Sheboygan students with current ID.

To reserve your seats in advance, call the UW-Sheboygan Box Office at (920) 459-6652, stop in the UW-S Business Services Office Monday-Friday during regular business hours, or purchase your tickets the night of the event. The Box Office in the Fine Arts Theatre will open at approximately 6 p.m.
