UW-S to offer “Night Owl” movie and astronomy viewing October 8

The University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan’s Star Troopers astronomy club invites space and astronomy enthusiasts to join them for a “Night Owl” movie night and telescope viewing of the stars on Saturday evening, October 8, in the UW-Sheboygan Brotz Science Building.

The evening will begin at 10 p.m. with a showing of “Red Planet” in Room 6001, located in the lower level of the Brotz Science Building. A late-night viewing of the moon, stars and planets will wrap up the evening on the Brotz Science Building patio after the conclusion of the movie.

This event is free and open to the public. All those planning to attend should park in the East Parking Lot and enter through the front doors of the Brotz Science Building and take the stairs or elevator down to the lower level to the large lecture hall (Room 6001).

The UW-Sheboygan campus is located at One University Drive, just off Taylor Drive (between Indiana and Union avenues).
