UW-Sheboygan Financial Aid Seminar is Feb. 9
Students, parents offered insight on paying for college

Are you planning to start working on that long-awaited college degree, or maybe your child is ready to head off to college? Either way, financial aid may play a vital role in making dreams of higher education come true.

The University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan will host a special Financial Aid Seminar on Wednesday, February 9 from 6 to 7:30 p.m., to assist college-bound students and/or their parents in understanding financial aid resources. All students and parents should report to the Student Services Office in the Main Building to check in for the program.

Financial Aid Seminar is an opportunity for parents and students to learn about the financial aid process. UW-Sheboygan Student Services staff will offer examples of financial aid packages, cost-saving tips, scholarships, admissions information and campus tours.

UW-Sheboygan offers foundation courses in more than 200 majors and guaranteed transfer to four-year UW institutions. The campus also offers a number of onsite bachelor’s degree programs that allow local students to complete their bachelor’s degrees without leaving Sheboygan County. Degrees are available in such in-demand career areas as Education, Engineering, Information Resources, Liberal Studies, Communication, Organizational Administration, Management, and Nursing.
