UW-Sheboygan offers insight into eating disorders, treatment
The UW-Sheboygan Center for Engagement Learning invites area residents wishing to learn about diagnostic criteria for eating disorders, treatment options and referral information on treatment to attend the upcoming seminar, “Eating Disorders: A Complete Treatment Team Approach.” This special workshop will be offered February 16 on the UW-Sheboygan campus.
This one-day seminar is for anyone wishing to learn more about eating disorders. This seminar will teach about not only the food, body shape, and weight, but underlying psychological components. This seminar will feature information from both the therapist and dietician perspectives.
Presenter David Drajkowski, MSW, LCSW, has provided psychotherapy for 15 years with specialty in treatments of adolescent and young adult eating disorders. Co-presenter Melissa Schneider, MA, LPC works with children, adolescents, and adults with eating disorders, and fellow co-presenter Darcy Stagman, MS, RD, CD, is a registered and certified dietitian specializing in nutritional therapy for eating disorders for individuals of all ages.
The workshop will be offered on Wednesday, February 16 from 8:30-11:30 a.m. in Room 2223 in the UW-Sheboygan Main Building. A $96 fee is required for the course.
