Learn more about UW-S 2012 Study Abroad tours on Oct. 18
The University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan invites area residents to learn more about the university’s scheduled 2012 Study Abroad tours at a special information night set for 6 p.m., Tuesday, October 18 at the Sheboygan County Chamber Office, 621 S. 8th Street in downtown Sheboygan.
University staff and faculty who will be leading the 2012 tours will be on hand to discuss both tours and answer questions about each destination and program content. The tours available in 2012 include:
• Southern Germany/Austria, March 16-24, 2012
• Highlights of Beijing City, China, May 23-31, 2012
The tour to Southern Germany and Austria will be led by UW-Sheboygan Assistant Professor of History Dr. Mark Karau, who has done extensive research on German history, and Professor of English Emeritus Joe Milicia, who is a seasoned travel guide.
The tour to China will be led by Professor Donald Beane, who has expertise in Asian history, culture and political systems, and Jinny Lourigan, UW-Sheboygan Chinese language instructor.
Sheboygan County Chamber members and their families/employees are eligible to receive a 10 percent discount on each tour (excluding tax and gratuity) through a special joint program offer through the chamber.
