UW-Sheboygan to offer course in business development in Brazil
The UW-Sheboygan Center for Engagement Learning invites area businesses and working professionals to learn more about the country of Brazil, its history, businesses and industries, and how to do business in this exciting country.
“Business in Brazil: What You Need to Know” is a seminar intended for anyone who has an interest in the country of Brazil, with a focus on business. The presentation, which will be offered February 15 and again March 9, will explain doing business with cultural distinctions, business etiquette and protocol. Resources for further studies and for those considering doing business in Brazil will be included.
Peter Geise will serve as the presenter for this seminar. He has worked for three years in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as well as having over 25 years of leadership experience with Fortune 100 companies, as well as privately held organizations. Currently, Geise is the President of Venda Advisors, Inc., a business transition advisory firm located in Milwaukee, and Cleveland, OH. Peter has earned his MBA at Case Western Reserve’s Weatherhead School of Management and has a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certificate from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
This workshop will be offered on two separate dates: Tuesday, February 15 from 8- 9:30 a.m. or March 9 from 7-8:30 p.m. A $35 fee is required for the seminar.
