UW Bachelor’s Degree and Distance Education Fair set for April 11

You’ve always wanted a University of Wisconsin bachelor’s degree, but couldn’t imagine how you’d make time in your busy life to commute. Today, the opportunities to earn a UW degree without commuting have never been greater.

Consider completing your bachelor’s degree through the University of Wisconsin-Sheboygan and its four-year UW partners, who offer a wide variety of collaborative and distance education degree programs. It’s now possible to earn many bachelor’s (and master’s) degrees, without commuting, in programs specially designed to accommodate the busy schedules of working adults. Required courses are usually completed through a combination of face-to-face, online and/or other distance delivery methods.

Learn how accessible and affordable a degree from the University of Wisconsin can be. On Wednesday, April 11, 2012, UW-Sheboygan will host a Bachelor’s Degree and Distance Education Fair from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Commons. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about online or local collaborative bachelor’s degree programs from seven UW System institutions, including the UW Colleges Online program. UW institutions and degrees represented at the fair will include:
• UW-Milwaukee – BA in Communication, BS in Information Science & Technology and BA in Sociology, Psychology, Political Science (Pre-Law), BA in History, BA in Art History and Criticism
• UW-Stout – BS in Management or Information & Communication Technologies
• UW-Oshkosh – BS in Early Childhood Education orSpecial Education, BS in Nursing, BA in Organizational Administration,
• UW-Superior – BA in Elementary Education, BA in Communication and BA in Individualized Majors
• UW-Platteville – BS in Engineering (Mechanical and Electrical)
• UW-Whitewater – Bachelor’s of Business Administration
• Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Management (via a consortium of four UW campuses)
• UW Colleges Online – AAS Degree and a wide selection of foundation courses

Learn more about UW-Sheboygan’s newest collaborative bachelor’s degree – a Bachelor of Science in Special Education (Cross Categorical) from UW Oshkosh.

The program is a regional collaboration including UW-Sheboygan, UW-Washington County, UW-Manitowoc and UW-Fond du Lac. Program participants complete their freshman-sophomore general education requirements at a UW Colleges campus or online, completing junior-senior level Special Education classes at a regional location at Riverview Middle School in Plymouth.
